I am using the Ipad Pro 2018 model 12.9 inch model. The citirx workspace is working great and i can connect to my work VDI with no issues at all, and using citrix mouse makes it great laptop alternative to use.

The dock is the heart of all split-screen features on your Apple device, as that is where all apps are located for launch. First, make sure you set up your iPad via Settings Home Screen & Dock.
The only thing i cannot get done is extend the VDI desktop to external screen. I can only get to mirror it. As per apple the App Developers can support extending multiple screen functionality.
